Talented director Harish Shankar who scored a series of hits has been idle from the past one and half year. There were talks that he would direct two young actors in Daagudumoothalu but the project did not materialize. Harish Shankar finally decided to remake Tamil blockbuster Jigarthanda and the pre-production work has been wrapped up recently.

The latest update says that the movie will be launched officially during the end of this month. Varun Tej has been roped in as the lead antagonist and Naga Shaurya is said to essay the other lead role. 14 Reels Plus will produce this action thriller and Harish Shankar spent ample time working the screenplay to suit the nativity of the Telugu audience.
