Talented filmmaker Harish Shankar has been out of track after the debacle of Duvvada Jagannadham. It has been over a year and half but nothing has been finalized about his next. He penned Daagudumoothalu but the film had no traces as the lead actors haven’t been finalized. Speculations continued about his next but the director is yet to make things official.
The latest news reveal that Harish Shankar is keen on remaking 2014 Tamil blockbuster Jigarthanda. The film featured Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles. Harish Shankar is in plans to adopt the film and pen it in his style to impress the Tollywood audience. Young actor Sharwanand is considered to reprise the role of Siddharth however things will be official once Harish wraps up the script work.
Surprisingly Sharwanand’s name has been speculated as one of the lead actors for Harish Shankar’s Daagudumoothalu. Varun Tej is also under consideration as per sources. Seems like Harish Shankar is struggling hard to finalize the lead actor for his next after most of the actors are occupied with a bunch of projects.
