Harish Shankar is one of the most talented writers and directors of Telugu cinema. After a long break, his recent outing Gaddalakonda Ganesh received a decent response and the film raked good revenues. There are speculations that Harish Shankar will direct a remake soon for which the ace director stepped out with a big no. Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy approached Harish Shankar to direct Andhadhun remake but Harish Shankar politely rejected the proposal.
He is no more interested in remakes and is penning couple of interesting scripts currently. Though he was keen on directing Pawan Kalyan, the top actor already decided to work for Pink remake and Krish’s folk drama. As of now, Harish Shankar wishes to pen the complete drafts and then approach the suitable actor. Harish Shankar’s next film will roll sometime during the second half of 2020.
