Former MP Harsha Kumar is giving shocking embarrassments to the YCP government regarding its failure to bring out the sunken boat from the bottom of the Godavari river. Now, he has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking directions to the AP and Central Governments to retrieve the tragic boat. His petition came as a rude shock to the Jagan Reddy government as the Ex MP is continuing and intensifying his fight despite the police case filed against him for alleged misguiding statements on the boat tragedy.
Surprisingly, the AP Police are on a man-hunt to arrest Harsha Kumar for making false statements who has now made the same allegations before the apex court. He told the court that Jagan Circar is deliberately avoiding the retrieval of the boat since it would expose its failure to ensure safety of tourists. Tens of tourists were drowned in the tragedy. The Ex MP also told the court that the AP government has paid Rs 25 lakh to a contractor for taking out the boat. The contractor deliberately failed to retrieve the boat because he was asked by the powers-that-be to fail.
