The Jaganmohan Reddy government has temporarily stalled demolition of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s residence in Undavalli. This is following a petition filed by house owner Lingamaneni Ramesh before the AP High Court. He produced permissions and other documents given by the local panchayat and also the Krishna river conservator for the house construction.
These documents were already submitted to the Commissioner of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA). The Commissioner however rejected the documents as valid. He issued notices for demolishing the ground, first floors, swimming pool and dressing room of Naidu residence. On his part, Lingamaneni has decided to fight the court battle against Jagan Circar. He has especially taken it as a personal issue after YCP leaders spread rumours that he is a benami of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
CRDA Chairman Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has been on a mission to spread misinformation and get Naidu house demolished.
