Hello Guru Premakosame Audio Review
Hello Guru Premakosame is an upcoming romantic entertainer starring Ram Pothineni and Anupama Parameshwaran in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by high voltage Devi Sri Prasad. The film is produced by successful banner Sri Venkateshwara Productions by Dil Raju.
The youthful album begins with My World is Flying – a fun filled number with techno beats and loads of freshness. Alphons Joseph delivers a neat rendition and pays special attention to the diction as well. Srimani’s lyrics are casual and loaded with a conversational air. The typical violin usage of DSP is evident in the first interlude. In short, the song sets a great beginning for a feel good musical journey.
Native place is a funky take on the advantages one can have living in a hometown. Narendra’s vocals have a tinge of youthfulness and melody associated with it. Srimani again sticks to simple usage of Telugu words which can find connect with the youngsters. The arrangements are quite on the modern style and set the stage quite appealingly. In fact, the theme of the song is quite peculiar and never touched upon in Telugu films till date.
The album relies on casualness a bit more with another conversational number idea cheppu friendu sung by the actors Ram and Prakash Raj. The dialogue between two friends about love and relationships gets a fresh treatment in this number. Chandrabose does a neat job in bringing a convincing musical conversation. The rhythm section maintains a steady pace and keeps the energy going well. The techno sounds are mellowed and go with the flow of the song. However, there is nothing much experimental in the musical perspective.
DSP brings his favorite singer Yazin Nizar for a romantic solo Pedda Pedda Kallathoti with groovy rhythm and effective usage of jazzy keys. The song has an irresistible resemblance to Ram’s earlier hit number Crazy Feeling from Nenu Sailaja. But Yazin makes sure the energy is pumped up well to Srimani’s neat lyrics. The usage of saxophone on the second interlude is groovy and interesting.
The finale occurs with title song Hello Guru Premakosame with mass beats and high energy vocals by Sagar and Ranina Reddy. The song somehow lacks the usual punch delivered by Dsp in such songs and progresses in a monotonous fashion.
Verdict :
Hello Guru Premakosame is a typical album aimed to entertain the youngsters and the masses. The album disappoints when it comes to a DSP mark one
