Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film will be directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The project was officially announced on Ugadhi in Amaravati and the formal launch will take place in Annapurna Studios on this 22nd. The film is about Gauthamiputra Satakarni, one of the greatest rulers of Satavahana kingdom and Balakrishna plays the titular role.
From many days, it was speculated that popular Bollywood actress Hema Malini will play Balakrishna’s mother in the film. Now, it is officially confirmed by Balakrishna that Hema Malini is on board for the film and will sign the dotted line very soon. She will be essaying the role of Gauthami Balashri, the mother of Satakarni.
The female lead and the remaining cast are yet to be confirmed. Devi Sri Prasad will render the tunes. The shooting will be wrapped up by the end of this year. The film will be made with a budget of 50 Crores. First Frame Entertainment banner will shepherd this prestigious project.
