It definitely is the most anticipated film of Balakrishna and it seems the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure this is the best yet. Gautamiputra Satakarni, which will chronicle the life and times of the erstwhile Telugu ruler is being directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and is presently in the second leg of shoot.
And the team has managed a casting coup of sorts by roping in the likes of Kabir Bedi to play key roles. Well, apparently, a humongous sum of Rs 2 crore has been paid as remuneration to the veteran actress who plays Gautami, the mother of the king.
The film is being produced by Rajiv Reddy under the First Frame Entertainment banner and is touted to release this Sankranthi.
