The film, a Vamshi Paidipalli directional, is getting ready to hit the screens on March 25th. The first look teaser and posters have impressed everyone and the film is carrying positive reports from the industry sources.
It is learnt that the producer has quoted 3 Crores for the Overseas rights. It is believed that the stupendous success of Soggade Chinni Nayana in Overseas has prompted the producer to quote such a price for this emotional drama. Soggade Chinni Nayana minted $830K ( Approx full run gross) and the total share is 3 Crores. So, Oopiri need to collect on par with Soggade Chinni Nayana to fetch profits for the distributor.
The mass and class moments in Soggade Chinni Nayana have been received very well by the audience and these elements have helped the film big-time to register solid collections in all areas. But, the question is can Oopiri, which is termed as an experimental film due to the offbeat script, repeat a similar magic at the box office for the Overseas distributor to break even.
