TDP AP unit president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao has predicted over 150 Assembly seats for Telugu Desam Party (TDP), while exerting that YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s dream of becoming chief minister will never be a reality, while exerting confidence that voting turnout is over 80 per cent and this is evident that TDP will retain power,
“Despite several odds, Andhraites patiently waited in the long queues to cast vote. Several places, polling stations suffered malfunctioning of EVMs, and this made voters stand in queues till midnight. TDP’s Mission-150 is successful as the surge in voting will make it a reality. TDP’s Mission-150 has dampened the dream of YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who always wanted to become chief minister rather than serving Andhraites, who’re committed to voting against Narendra Modi’s dictatorship and KCR’s backdoor politics,” said Rao in a letter addressed to YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Referring to YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s statement that the existing TDP government as caretaking government, Rao said it’s showing his lack of experience in the politics as Naidu continues to be chief minister for the second term in the residual Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation of united AP in June 2014.
“I am sure that the dream of YS Jaganmohan Reddy to become AP chief minister will never be a reality. Entire AP stands for Nara Chandrababu Naidu, but there’s no realisation or change in YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Voters had successfully overcome all the obstacles created by YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his party cadres on the polling day,” remarked Rao.
