Sanjay Dutt’s biopic Sanju released on Friday and the film has been declared as a massive blockbuster all over. The film opened with a bang across the globe and the Saturday, Sunday figures have been exceptional all over. Sanju collected Rs 120.06 crores in three days of its run across the country. Sanju emerged as the highest first weekend grosser ever among Hindi films. The movie raked Rs 46.71 crores on Sunday alone which is the highest single day collection in the history of Bollywood.
Sanju crossed Salman Khan’s Tiger Zindai which grossed Rs 115 crores in its opening weekend across India. Trade analysts predict that Sanju will emerge as the highest grosser of the year among the Hindi films. Rajkumar Hirani directed the film and Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal as Sanjay Dutt has been receiving exceptional response. Vidhu Vinod Chopra produced Sanju while Paresh Rawal and Vicky Kaushal essayed other prominent roles.
