Tollywood actor and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan’s tweets censuring the appointment of Anil Kumar Singhal, IAS as the TTD Executive Officer is facing severe criticism. Jana Sena released a press note saying that it is not opposing the appointment of Anil Kumar but rather asking the government to appoint South Indian IAS officers in North Indian temples.
Kalyan’s tweets in first place did not go well with IAS officers’ association. In response to the tweet from Kalyan, IAS Association tweeted “IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service & we work in all States without any North/South/East/West/NE bias”

Kalyan said in his tweet questioned, “would they allow any South Indian to take up the administrative position of such sacred shrine of Northern India”. IAS Association came down heavily on this statement and said “Also it’s unfair to classify TTD as a ‘South Indian shrine. All Indians have faith & let’s not build artificial walls.”
