Nagarjuna’s Officer is going to be the mother of all disasters in Tollywood. It would definitely take some time for both Nagarjuna and his fans to come out the humiliation left by ignominious collections on its first two days.
After opening on an embarrassing note with below 50 lakhs share on its first day, the collections on the second day are very appalling leaving trade circles shell shocked. Even biggest disasters like Param Veera Chakra, Bhai and Kedi have managed to get some share in their short run, but Officer is most likely end up with a negative share due to its pathetic run.
On its second day, the film ran with deficits in all areas of Telugu states. In areas like Nizam, East and Kakinada, the film collected humiliating numbers and staring at huge losses for all buyers.
The shoddy script and incoherent narration are the biggest liabilities for the film. The poorly edited teasers and trailers failed to generate buzz around the film and resulted in very weak openings.
Directed by RGV, the film has Nagarjuna as a cop. Myra Sareen is the female lead.
