Within a short span, the YCP regime is breaking unenviable records in misgovernance and maladministration. At a time when CM Jagan is meeting business heads in America, the Indian industry back home is full of negative rumours because of a top industrialist’s critical tweet. Karnataka’s big industrialist Mohandas Pai has launched a direct attack saying that the Jagan Reddy government has destroyed all trust of overseas investors in Andhra Pradesh. Pai is well-known in Indian industry and he served in top positions in Infosys.
Pai’s tweet had triggered massive rumours among the industrialists all over India. He referred to Japan objection to the cancellation of PPAs of solar energy companies by YCP Rule. Pai went on to say that government terrorism is closing all the doors for future investments in AP.
Analysts say that comments from such top industrialists are indicative of the spoilt industrial atmosphere in AP. The 75 per cent quota for locals marred the state’s image at the national level. YCP MP’s insults on Kia Motors executives hurt existing industry sentiment. The Centre is persistently making its objections to PPAs cancellation and re-tendering of Polavaram project works.
