Successful director Maruthi, who showcased a protagonist (Nani) having memory-related issues in ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’, has etched another interesting character for the lead role in his new film, ‘Mahanubhavudu’ starring Sharwanand.
The film touches the ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission launched by PM Narendra Modi. Sharwa’s character will be very particular about cleanliness, an acute level of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), which is showcased in a lighter vein.
The screenplay is full of such entertaining moments, and it is heard that the comedy part has come out very well. Just like in Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Maruthi has stuffed the climax of Mahanubhavudu with sufficient emotional quotient to satiate the family audiences too.
UV Creations, who have bankrolled the project, are so confident of the final output that they have decided to release it in competition with two biggies – SPYder and Jai Lava Kusa for Dussehra. Mehreen is playing leading lady.
Sharwa scored a hit earlier this year with ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi’ despite the film was pegged against Chiru’s Khaidi No.150 and Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni. Can he pull off another such feat with Mahanubhavudu?
