The Jagan Media created lots of hype surrounding the recent visit of a French delegation of top industrialists. Sakshi boasted a lot about the largescale investments they are going to make in Andhra Pradesh thanks to Jagan Regime’s good policies. All of this came as a big surprise to the opposition parties and industrialists in AP. How come a foreign delegation is showing such interest when general industry sentiment is negative against AP?
But soon, it became clear that the French delegation members were the business partners of Jagan’s wife Bharati. In her name, many industries are running in AP and other states. The delegation belongs to France company ‘Fondation Louis Vicat’. This company has bought 51 per cent share at Rs. 2,000 crore in Bharati Cements in which Jagan family has 49 per cent stake. The foreign company bought and began running Bharati Cements much before production. This means, Jagan family just acquired land and necessary permissions while the French company looked after all other major production work.
Now, Former Minister Nara Lokesh raised suspicions whether Jagan is getting ready for another Quid Pro Quo deal with the French company soon. However, it is clear how Jagan Media is trying hard to project Jagan family business expansions as big industrial achievements for entire AP.
