Reigning actress Samantha Akkineni made a startling revelation about her personal life during a recent media interaction.
In her interview to a leading news portal, Samantha opened up about her alleged love story which surfaced in media circles few years ago and said that her career would have doomed like that of yesteryear actress Savitri’s has she not quickly realized and came out of the depression.
Samantha revealed that she was in deep love with a person at one point of time in her career when she was ruling the roost as star heroine. She added that her life would have met a similar fate like Savitri, but luckily she survived the tough times in those days.
She recollected these gloomy experiences when hearing the emotional story of Savitri and felt that it bears close similarities to her personal life.
Though Samantha didn’t reveal the name, it may be remembered that there were strong rumours in media about her alleged love affair with actor Siddharth.
