He has done it before. And he has done it again. Wondering what we are talking about? Quite simple that one is! We’ve all seen other music directors do it as well. Repeating their own tunes much to the chagrin of a music enthusiast who sadly, unwittingly and unwillingly tries each time to give a deaf ear. But alas, the much practiced mind doesn’t give a break.
But now, we talk about music director Anup Rubens alone. Let us note here that he has done some notable and sensible work in his large repertoire of work. But, it’s quite sad to see this musician constantly dishing out the same tones. Case in point is his latest album ISM. Well, we went into a mode of deja vu as we heard the song which reminded us of Dikka Dikka Dum Dum from Soggade Chinni Nayana.
However, we had a similar sense of nostalgia with the tunes of Aatadukundam Raa which was a mix of everything from Manam to Akhil to we don’t quite remember what else!
Umm, but you should wait till we tell you (or may be you already know) about the theme music of Gopala Gopala which hasn’t even been changed unlike these other tunes and he decided to just go ahead and use it anyway.
Anup! You are quite talented. Then why you do this man?
