Andhra Pradesh state’s Communications Advisor Parakala Prabhakar addressed the media hours after IYR Krishnarao was removed as chairman of Brahmin welfare corporation and AP Endowments Archakas and other employees’ welfare fund trust.
Parakala iterated that the state government respects the former CS but he needs to behave in a certain way when bestowed with an important responsibility. He accused IYR made of making false claims regarding appointment with the Chief Minister and said that the former
CS was extremely friendly with Naidu.
Responding to the question “are we fascist?” by IYR earlier in the day, Parakala said that Fascism is an exaggeration. He deplored the statement by the former CS that the people of the state are not getting the facts and held that such indictment was not required.
He said that the government did not expect such behavior from a responsible individual like IYR. The Communications Advisor said that the government does not expect people to sing TDP ‘Bhajans’. Pointing to Ravikiran Inturi’s detention, he said that there will be ramifications if one insults the State Assembly and a Dalit MLA.
Parakala said that IYR should have approached the government if he had any issues instead of posting it on social media especially because he had the rapport with the government.
