Former Union Minister Chinta Mohan referred to both Jaganmohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan as those hailing from the Congress party families of YSR and Chiranjeevi. He wanted Jagan to merge his YSR Congress Party with the Congress and fight the election sincerely. If Jagan is ready to agree for the merger plan, then the Congress will make him the chief minister after the next election.
With regard to the Jana Sena Party, Chinta Mohan says Pawan is not a stranger to the Congress party and there are many chances for an alliance between them. If Pawan agrees for a tie-up, Chinta Mohan volunteered to take up the matter with his party high command and convince them on this.
The Congress leaders are busy coming out with new ideas for their future prospects after they lost all hopes of a tie-up with the TDP. They are ready to work with Jagan and Pawan as well. The Congress high command is considering all non-BJP parties as their probable and likely allies before or after the election. Chinta Mohan’s comments came amid statements by Congress incharge that their party would contest alone. But Chinta says he will convince high command if needed just like how he convinced SP and BSP to join in the past.
