YSR Congress Party Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is rolling out a campaign YSR Kutumbam programme on the eighth death anniversary of former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on Saturday.
Following the defeat in both Nandyal and Kakinada, the immediate need for the opposition party is to boost the morale of the party workers. So, it is taking up activities like training the Party District In-charges this Month, followed by a door-to-door promotional campaign.
As per the reports, the YSR Kutumbam campaign will identify the families who are fans or followers of YSR initially. It is known fact that most of the followers of Jagan are actually fans or YSR. The opposition party which has been singing the tune “Anna Vastunnadu – Navaratnalu Testunnadu” will now be focusing on YSR Kutumbam.
During their door to door campaign, they will identify the families who are fans of YSR and will also collect the details of YSRCP karyakartas. They will also be using technology immensely and if someone gives a missed call, they can become a part of the YSRCP family.
After the technicalities are completed, these families will be enlightened with the Navaratnalu (9promises) by Jagan. YSRCP will detail them about the schemes launched by YSR build a trust and then speak to them about the future plans. It is going to be a two-way communication medium as people will be able to share their problems and grievances directly with Jagan which will be launched on October2.
In short YSRCP’s strategy is going to depend entirely on the YSR legacy which aims to reach out to about one crore people in the state. The campaign is expected to be completed by October26 before Jagan commences his six-month-long Padayatra.
