YSRCP is ensuring to highlight the Cash for Vote scam though The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu claimed that Supreme Court notice is no big deal. Opposition leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy claimed that the CM toiled hard to divert public attention from the matter. He took a fault in the stars of the CM. He said that while the Governor’s address in the assembly was scheduled at 11:06 am by the Pundits, the Supreme Court admitted Naidu’s case at 11:10 am. He said Supreme Court sending a notice to CM is not a routine thing but a serious matter.
Speaking about the Governor’s Address, Jagan said that the government fabricated the speech about special category status. The governor said that the special category status would go away by March end even for the existing SCS states. However, the opposition leader, citing the GST act said, “The Section E, Clause IV or the Section 274 A of the GST Act clearly says that special provisions would be made for Special Category Status States. This means the facility would continue for SCSs. This clearly shows that the Government is peddling falsehoods”
Criticizing the government about land allocations, he deplored that the lottery system was opaque. He questioned, “If all houses are allotted through lottery, how come only TDP leaders and their followers were allotted plots in prime locations?” He said that the lands of the TDP leaders are in the commercial zone which fetch good prices while the farmer’s lands are kept in agricultural zones incurring them a loss.
He even grilled into the statements of TDP Government that the state’s GDP was five percentage points more than the national average. Jagan addressed a media conference after the first day of the assembly budget session.
