Hyderabad: With yesterday’s Anantapur Jana Sena Sabha, Pawan Kalyan proved a point that he is a seasoned politician in the unseasonal political atmosphere of Andhra Pradesh.
Not a very few politicians would try to know the subject after entering politics. This is the reason why they keep irritating people with their morbid speeches whenever they appear at a public meeting or an election campaign. Besides wielding political clout, these politicians would show no interest to learn the subject and tend to make personal allegations in all occasions of meetings.
But Pawan Kalyan has proved that he is different from others by putting his agenda before Anantapur people, although some leaders might not agree with his opinions. But one thing Pawan should be commended for is his research which he has done before coming to the public meeting. Another appreciable aspect is when he said he is just an average student and the way he picked up knowledge by interacting with experts and veterans who served in various fields.
It is learnt that the Jana Sena leader has done good comparative study on the Special Package announced by the Centre. He also said that the Centre is trying to wash its hands by allocating Rs 8,000 crore to Polavaram project. He also found fault with the way the BJP is blowing its trumpet after announcing package. Overall, it is good to see how Pawan has been observing politics and government policies closely.
YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be benefited as a leader of the opposition in AP Assembly if he works out on such analysis. He spoke many times on Polavaram Project. He seems to be very routine while picking holes in the progress of the project. Even while speaking on any crucial subject during Assembly session, Jagan often seen taking chance to make allegations against AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and gives the chance to debate on issue to his partyman Bugguna Rajendranath Reddy.
While there is intense debate among TDP cadre over the issue of currency notes ban, Jagan is silent without making any remark. It will be helpful for himself, if he quantifies and introspect as to what extent he understood the subject from the day he floated his new party.
