AP Opposition leader Jaganmohan Reddy has refused to give his statement to the AP police with regard to the airport attack case. The officials of the special investigation team (SIT) went to the City Neuro Hospital in Hyderabad where Jagan is taking treatment for the knife injury in his shoulder.
The SIT officials were not immediately allowed by doctors to talk to Jagan. After several hours, Jagan spoke to them and refused to give any statement. He said that he would give any statement only in the presence of officials from an agency not reporting to the AP police. Jagan said that he had no confidence and trust in the AP police with regard to Vizag airport case.
Meanwhile, TDP leaders have begun objecting to Jagan’s moving to Hyderabad instead of staying back in Vizag for taking treatment. They also criticised CISF central forces for not following regular procedures of detaining attackers and victims as well in such incidents for further investigation.
