Andhra Pradesh former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu demanded a straight clarification from CM Jaganmohan Reddy on why the CBI made such serious comments against him. Naidu asked Jagan to tell people whether or not the CBI accused him of misusing his CM post to influence witnesses in his massive illegal assets cases. TDP boss mockingly said that a Chief Minister fully tainted with corruption is now talking big things about eliminating corruption in Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu held a review meeting with former sarpanches, ZPTC, MPTC members and village level leaders. He referred to how the CBI seriously commented that Jagan was imprisoned because he tried to threaten witnesses. Later, even when CM was jailed, he began influencing the witnesses from within the four walls of the prison. Naidu asked how such a corruption-tainted CM can ever do justice to the people.
Interestingly, Naidu demanded Jagan to surrender all his ill-gotten wealth to the people as a penalty for all his misdeeds during his father’s rule. It’s a wonder how such Jagan can boldly describe his regime as God’s rule.
