There are 543 MP seats in the Lok Sabha of which Telangana has just 17 seats while Andhra Pradesh has 25 seats. With such smaller numbers, the Telugu states cannot exercise greater influence on the national politics. The United AP state used to have 42 seats which gave it considerable advantage at that time but things have changed now after bifurcation.
Though Telangana has only 17 MP seats, CM Chandrasekhara Rao is saying he will form Federal Front and play a big role in national politics. How is it possible? asks AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who has realised the ground reality because of which he has allied with the Congress party. Naidu asked whether Opposition leader Jaganmohan Reddy is supporting the KCR’s front or not.
To expose rival parties, CBN now brings forth his demand for clarity on the YSR Congress Party stand on the third front. He asked whether Jagan has any other plans. It is known the YCP leaders had publicly celebrated the victory of KCR party in Telangana elections but they are not opting for open alliance with the TRS party.
CBN knows Jagan requires support from a stronger ally at the national level considering the illegal assets cases investigated by the CBI against him. Now CBN is bringing pressure on Jagan to explain which front he is going to embrace.
