AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy waited for two days in Delhi and finally got an appointment with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. But when Jagan reached Shah Office this noon, there were big crowds of BJP leaders and VIPs who came to extend birthday wishes to the Union Minister. Consequently, Jagan couldn’t get enough alone time to freely talk to Shah. As there was celebratory atmosphere, AP CM had no chance to effectively present his wish-list before Shah.
Known for his hot temperament, Jagan made no secret of his displeasure against AP Government Special Representative Vijayasai Reddy who coordinated with the Shah Office. Especially the timing of Jagan meeting proved very odd as no serious matter could be presented before the Union Minister when he was amid birthday celebrations.
Jagan’s appointments with other union ministers were also cancelled in the afternoon. The BJP leaders in Delhi are speculating why Amit Shah didn’t give enough time to Jagan and why other union ministers are also avoiding him. Is this part of the hard line that the Modi-Shah have already taken against AP CM for ignoring the Centre on PPAs, Polavaram, etc?
