AP Ministers mounted severe criticism against YCP president Jaganmohan Reddy in a bid to counter opposition attack over Vizag airport knife attack. Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Jawahar, Anand Babu and others said that Jagan’s joint plans with BJP to destabilise TDP government were now standing exposed to the outside world.
‘Jagannatakam’ (big darama of Jagan) has now turned into a huge ‘self-goal’ for Opposition leader whose designs to provoke AP people did not work, said Ganta Srinivasa Rao. If such a serious injury was there, where was the necessity for Jagan to continue his journey for three more hours and go to Hyderabad, the TDP Ministers asked.
Jawahar said that by opting to give statement before Telangana police, Jagan has insulted Andhra pride and he will pay a heavy price for the same. He ridiculed the YCP stand that there would be no justice for Jagan if he remained in AP.
Twitterati were also cracking jokes on YCP president for trying to drag the issue for long though the injury looked small. They were asking as to how Jagan could walk and take up four hours’ journey if he suffered such a deep wound up to 3-4 cm in the shoulder.
Meanwhile, AP police found that attacker Srinivasa Rao took help of his relatives and friends to write the 10-page letter to Jagan. They also took up investigation in attacker’s home village. Vizag police came to a conclusion that Srinivasa Rao had carried out the attack out of his own free will in order to achieve some purpose and not to harm victim’s life.
Now that Jagan has been discharged from hospital, there are reports that there is no threat of poisoning.
