Andhra Pradesh Leader of Opposition Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 10th,2017 is being meticulously examined by media and politicians. While Jagan and his media are asserting that the agenda of the meeting was to represent the issues prevalent in the state, ruling Telugu Desam party and its pro-media are alleging that the YCP leader met Modi requesting aid related to pending criminal cases against him.
In this cross-fire, a fact has emerged that Jagan, on Feb 17th 2017, wrote a letter addressing to the Prime Minister about the vindictive nature of ED officials . The letter alleges the malafide intentions of ED officials who are acting at the behest of the TDP government.
Telugu360 has gained access to the seven-page letter. However, a leading Telugu daily is alleging that Jagan had submitted a copy of the same letter on May 10th, 2017 to the prime minister, along with other issues.
Writing such letters claiming corruption in insitutions like ED and CBI is not something new for Jagan.Earlier Jagan devised a similar war on honest CBI officer JD Lakshminarayana which backfired and had negative repercussions for not only Jagan but his party as such. While comprehensibility on what happened last week at the meeting is yet to be established, read the three month old letter here :
