Janaka aithe ganaka movie review
Telugu360 Rating: 2.75/5
Suhas has done impressive films in his career. He is teaming up with top producer Dil Raju for the first time for Janaka Aithe Ganaka, an interesting attempt which is a drama that is set in a middle class family. The film narrates about the lives of the married youth and their struggles. Sandeep Reddy Bandla is making his debut as director. Here is the review of Janaka Aithe Ganaka:
Story:
Janaka Aithe Ganaka is the story of Prasad (Suhas) who hails from a middle class family. He has a good clarity about kids after getting married. He wants to give his kids the best. His monthly earnings are Rs 30000 and he has no chance to give the best if he has kids. That is the reason, he doesn’t plan kids even after two years of his marriage despite pressure from his parents. Prasad’s wife (Sangeerthana Vipin) understands his struggle. Prasad explains about the expenses to raise the kids of this generation to his family members. After a series of explanations, Prasad’s father (Goparaju Ramana) turns calm. At this time, Prasad’s wife turns pregnant. Prasad approaches the court against the Condom manufacturing company about the defects. The rest of Janaka Aithe Ganaka is all about what happens next.
Analysis:
Some of the ideas sound quite unique and different. But executing in the right manner is the real risk for any director. The treatment is quite crucial to impress the audience completely. The idea of Janaka Aithe Ganaka is catchy and filing a case against a condom manufacturing company is quite interesting. There are a lot of hurdles in narrating the idea as it will appeal to a limited section of the audience. The real plot has to be unfolded at the earliest in the film but the real story starts right before the interval episode. The first half is just ok with decent entertainment and drama.
The director has taken enough time to establish the relationships and the bonding between a husband and his wife. The rest of the first half revolves around the professional career of Prasad and his problems. Prasad’s perspective of kids and the expenses to raise the kids will connect well to the audience. The interval episode of Janaka Aithe Ganaka is impressive.
The second half of Janaka Aithe Ganaka is quite better when compared to the first half of the film. Murali Sharma’s entry into the court and the episodes impresses the audience. Some of the scenes are quite dragged. There is no strength in the courtroom drama. Prasad’s wife statement is crucial and her statement will end the story of the film. The writing is weak throughout the second half of Janaka Aithe Ganaka. The demands of reducing the school fee and other expenses is not narrated well. The hero’s illogical argument is not well written and presented.
Performances:
Suhas gets a tailor-made role in Janaka Aithe Ganaka and he has performed well. But he has done too many middle class roles like Janaka Aithe Ganaka. Though he did his part well, his performance looked regular at times. The director should have written his role with more depth. Suhas role fails to notice the emotion in kids and he is just concerned about the expenses of raising the kids of this generation. These are linked to the climax portions. Suhas also questions about his ancestors who did not succeed well in life and Suhas is quite confident that his kids will not turn successful in life. This is not the mindset of a middle class father. Vennela Kishore’s role generates enough smiles throughout. Murali Sharma is decent in the second half. Goparaju Ramana is good as Prasad’s father. Rajendra Prasad’s performance as judge went overboard.
Janaka Aithe Ganaka is technically ok. The songs composed by Vijay Bulganian are not registered. The background score is decent in Janaka Aithe Ganaka. Sai Sriram’s cinematography work is good enough. The production values of Janaka Aithe Ganaka are adequate. Sandeep Reddy Bandla has come up with an interesting idea but the narration is not convincing and impressive. There is no emotional connection throughout. But the director did not cross the line and managed to narrate it without any vulgarity. The climax twist comes as a surprise.
