The reputation of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Meelo Evaru Koteesardu (MEK) game show are already at stake considering how poorly the TRP ratings are. And, the latest episode featuring senior comedian Brahmanandam as the Guest, has landed this flop show in a controversy.
Talking about his Guru Jandhyala, Brahmi conveyed that the late legendary Telugu filmmaker had once attended an event in inebriated condition. This reputation-damaging discussion between Chiru and Brahmi didn’t go well with artists and filmmakers who had good association with Jandhyala. They have reportedly told Brahmi that he shouldn’t have used those words against a man who had given a career to him.
Jandhyala’s wife Annapurna said that she personally called Brahmanandam and advised him never to make such defamatory comments against her husband. ‘My husband was a teetotaller. I never expected Chiranjeevi and Brahmanandam to ruin his image in public with these kinds of false statements. MAA TV has promised me to delete that part from the episode,’ she said.
This controversy has thrown more mud on Brahmanandam, Chiranjeevi and MEK show than on Jandhyala garu.
