Whether it is “Naidu’ or “Modi’, those fails to delivery on the expectations of people will meet the same fate of what happened in Bihar Assembly Elections.
Hyderabad: Those fails to deliver on promises made to the people will have to meet the same fate like what was witnessed in Bihar Assembly election results. “Be it Chandrababu Naidu”, or “Modi” it makes no difference. These are the words of caution sounded by TDP Anantapur MP J C Diwakar Reddy, to his own party boss, and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing media here on Monday, he said that people have high expectations on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. And, the results in Bihar Assembly election results need to be taken seriously by both, and learn lesions from the same, he pointed out. And, “those fails to align in line with the people’s wishes will have to meet the same fate of BJP in Bihar Assembly polls,” he added. Further, Diwakar Reddy pointed out that the PM had failed to sense the peoples pulse and their wishes, resulting in the defeat of that party,” he opined.
Brushing aside the BJP gaining ground in Rayalaseema, he said that nobody knows BJP in Seema. The BJP has no cadre in Andhra Pradesh. However, if they try to build up their cadre, may be the can think of coming to power in Andhra Pradesh after a decade, the TDP MP said.
On special status to Andhra Pradesh, Diwakar Reddy said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister Srujana Chowdary know that the State would get only special package, but not special status. So, there is no point in still giving hopes to the people of the State on the special status,” he clarified.
Calling Congress as a non entity despite its performance in Bihar Assembly elections, the TDP MP took a dig at those trying to raise the issue of justice for Rayalaseema. He said all those trying to make out an issue of on Justice for Rayalaseema are all who have lost in elections during the 2014 General Elections. And, “I demanded for Royal Telangana. But, none of these people who are now fighting for Justice for Rayalaseema had come forward.” This shows the commitment of those raising the bogy of Justice for Rayalaseema, Diwakar Reddy said.
