Kaala makers files a Writ Petition in Karnataka High Court
Superstar Rajinikanth’s next film Kaala has been banned across Karnataka over the Cauvery water row. The makers are trying out their best to ensure that the film will get a release in the state. The latest update is that the producers filed a writ petition in the High Court of Karnataka challenging the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) asking them why they have banned Kaala.
The producers also requested the court to ensure a smooth release for the film by providing security across the theatres in Karnataka. An update is expected on this soon. PA Ranjith directed Kaala which is a gangster drama. Wunderbar Films produced Kaala which is slated for June 7th release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
