Kabali sequel

Superstar Rajinikanth created huge buzz this year with the film Kabali. PA Ranjith directed this stylish action and emotional entertainer and the movie raked over Rs 300 crores in its final run despite of the poor word of mouth. Radhika Apte played the female lead and Santosh Narayanan composed the music. There have been talks about the sequel of the film from a long time and even PA Ranjith revealed that he has been working on the script. Kalaipuli S Thanu produced Kabali on V Creations banner.

Now the latest update is that the title Kabali 2 has been registered at the Tamil Nadu Film Chamber. This is a clear hint that the sequel is on and sources revealed that Rajinikanth will take a call only after listening to the final draft of the film. PA Ranjith is currently busy with the script and S Thanu will produce the sequel too. The regular shoot of the movie will start next year. Rajinikanth is currently busy wrapping up the shoot of Robo 2.0 in the direction of Shankar.
