Two films are going to vie at box office on March 1st. They are Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s thriller 118 and Allu Sirish’s desi comedy ABCD.
118, directed by KV Guhan, was initially supposed to release in February. The shooting formalities are also nearing completion. But, the makers have decided to release it for Summer and locked March 1st. This is a very crucial film for Kalyan Ram and producer Mahesh Koneru as they previously bagged an embarrassing debacle with Naa Nuvve. The teaser of 118 received a good response and Kalyan Ram is going to be seen in a stylish avatar in this film. Nivedha Thomas and Shalini Pandey are the female leads.
Allu Sirish’s ABCD, a remake of Malayalam hit with the same title, will also release on March 1st. Directed by Sanjeev Reddy, the film has Rukshar Dillon as the female lead. Sirish is playing a rich NRI who comes to India to lead a simple life to know about his roots. There will be a lot of humour and drama in the story. Madhura Sreedhar is producing this film.
