Legendary actor Kamal Haasan teamed up with veteran filmmaker TK Rajeev Kumar for a trilingual film titled Sabaash Naidu. The film started rolling in the US a few days back. Unfortunately, Rajeev Kumar fell sick at the start of the shoot and to avoid any delay, Kamal Haasan is handling the direction department.
The fresh update from the unit revealed that Rajeev Kumar has been diagnosed with a rare infectious disease, Lyme that is prevalent in North America. He is now been getting treated in intensive care in one of the best hospitals in Los Angeles. It is learnt that the director might not further take part in the film and he is likely to return home after treatment. This is a huge setback for the project, but the team is happy that the vast experience of Kamal will come in handy for its successful completion.
The film also features Brahmanandam, Shruti Haasan and Ramya Krishna in crucial roles.
