With the state assembly elections just a year from now, many small-time leaders are changing parties. In the latest development, industrialist, and BJP leader Raghuramkrishna Raju bid goodbye to the saffron party (BJP) and joined the Yellow Party (TDP).
Though Raghuramkrishna did not hold any prominent position in the BJP, rumors surfaced that he is an excellent source, especially when it comes to finances. Meanwhile, it is being strongly heard that Raghuramkrishna has been promised the Narsapur Assembly seat in West Godavari in the upcoming elections.
‘Few TDP bosses have promised that he (Raghuramkrishna) will be contesting from the Narsapur Assembly Constituency representing the TDP party. Though there is no official confirmation, a close source to the TDP have confirmed this’, said an insider source aware of the development.
Talking to the media about his ‘change of plans’, the industrialist said that, ‘I strongly believe that under the able leadership of AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu our state will progress. Even I want to join him, and strengthen his hands’. Interestingly, Raghuramkrishna is a relative of KVP Ramachandra Rao.
