A film on the life story of legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev is on cards and the film is titled ’83’. Ranveer Singh is the lead actor in the film and will be directed by Kabir Khan. Kapil Dev’s 23-year-old daughter Amiyaa joined the film as an assistant director. The entire cast and crew of the film will head to Dhamshala for a training session before the shoot starts.
The film will be shot in London, Scotland and the regular shoot commences from May 15th. 83 discusses how Kapil Dev made India proud with the victory of 1983 World Cup. Madhu Mantena, Vishnu Induri and Kabir Khan will jointly produce this big budget film. 83 is slated for April 10th, 2020 release.
