With just two days for release, Rajinikanth’s next movie Kaala has been banned in Karnataka and the makers approached the Karnataka High Court. The top court asked the state government to take the responsibility and provide security in all the theatres in which Kaala will be screened. The High Court also revealed that they would not interfere in the ban that has been imposed by the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC).
Karnataka High Court asked the producers to submit the list of exhibitors and it also said that if the exhibitors are not interested, the court would not force them to screen the film. Goldie Films who is releasing Kaala in Karnataka and they clarified that the film is releasing in all the multiplexes but they are unclear about the single screens. PA Ranjith is the director and Kaala will hit the screens on June 7th.
