Kalvakuntla Kavitha, daughter of Telangana CM KCR, is being compared with actress Ramya Krishna in “Narasimha” movie of late in political circles.
Ramya Krishna in the role of ‘Neelambari’ in superstar Rajnikanth’s 1999 blockbuster “Narasimha” locks herself in her house for 18 years burning with anger and vengeance to take revenge against Rajnikanth who refused to marry her and instead marries her servant actress Soundarya.
Similarly, Kavitha, after facing shocking defeat at the hands of BJP in Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat in May, has confined to her house in Manikonda on Hyderabad city outskirts.
She is not seen anywhere either in party activities or in any functions or events or in her constituency Nizamabad since May 23 Lok Sabha results.
Even when TRS is taking up a big membership drive at present which is being daily monitored by her father KCR and brother KTR, there is no response or active participation by Kavitha.
Worse still is, minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy, who is incharge of Nizamabad districts, had to go to Kavitha’s house in Manikonda, to give her party’s membership recently.
This photo was released to media which was the first and last public appearance of Kavitha since her defeat in Lok Sabha polls.
Kavitha as MP used to participate actively in Bathukamma celebrations on behalf of her organisation Telangana Jagruthi at several places across Telangana on a grand manner.
This year there was no hype or moolah as she played Bathukamma with just for others, the video of which has went viral on social media.
These developments led to speculations in TRS circles that Kavitha is burning with a vengeance to take revenge on BJP and for that reason, she locked herself at her house in Manikonda and will come out only after defeating BJP in Nizamabad after five years.
TRS party sources said KCR has offered Rajya Sabha MP post, MLC and minister post to pacify Kavitha and to bring her back to political limelight, but she refused it saying that nothing will satisfy her except taking revenge on BJP by defeating Dharmapuri Aravind in Nizamabad.
This is similar to Ramya Krishna who refuses all the offers offered by her minister brother in the movie to come out of the locked room and lead a normal life again.
However, in reel life, Ramya Krishna was not successful in taking revenge on Rajnikanth.
It remains to be seen whether Kavitha will reverse this in real life by defeating Aravind.
