Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is slowly moving to national politics from the past few months. Every comment he is making, every antic he is showing, and every decision he is taking, is being watched by the Delhi houses very keenly and closely. KCR shocked everyone after Telangana Assembly suspended 11 Congress MLAs and disqualified 2 MLAs, a couple of days ago.
In his latest statements, the KCR came up with an excellent defence to the ‘horse-trading’ that took place after the 2014 Telangana Assembly polls. Speaking in the TS Assembly, ‘having a stable government in Telangana is as important as having a separate statehood of Telangana. That is the reason we joined other party members in TRS. Our only aim is to develop Telangana.
We are working 100% selflessly. In the past, there used to be ‘lobbying gangs’ in the secretariat. Today, the people can come and directly meet the officials without any middle person’.
Talking about the corruption allegations in Mission Kakatiya and tenders, KCR said that, instead of making baseless statements, the oppositions should come forward with proofs. ‘Over 17,000 lakes (ponds) under the ‘Mission Kakatiya’ have been revamped. We are granting permissions to new Industries proposal within 15 days. The people of Telangana expressed their satisfaction about our governance,’ ended KCR.
