The Telangana Legislative Council met today and during the meeting, and the council introduced condolence resolution remembering former prime minister Vajpayee who passed away recently.

While speaking during this condolence resolution, KCR spoke highly about statesmanship of Vajpayee and remembered his services to the nation. KCR announced that TS government will allot one acre land for memorial of Vajpayee, He also announced TS government will build Vajpayee statue too.

Telangana Legislative Assembly was dissolved earlier this month and currently caretaker government is in place. But as per rules, legislative council should meet at least once in six months, as per constitution. So, even though it is caretaker government, council met to meet that constitutional requirement.
