Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is demolishing the Congress party with his trademark offensive strategies. Now 12 Congress MLAs have proposed to merge the Congress Legislature Party with the TRS Legislature Party. They have met Speaker Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy and made their representation.
The defecting MLAs claim that the voters have approved of their decision by giving a big victory to TRS in their respective segments in the recent local body elections. Meanwhile, Pradesh Congress Committee President Utham Kumar Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and others tried to protest against the merger. The police foiled their plans and arrested them.
Right from the beginning, KCR has effectively used the Aakarsh plans of YSR to attract MLAs to destabilize and cripple the opposition parties.
