TRS chief and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao reportedly feels that Jagan’s decision to merge APSTRC with AP government was a ‘big drama’.
According to TRS official sources, KCR told few ministers and TRS leaders, who came to Pragathi Bhavan to congratulate him on the superb victory of TRS in Huzurnagar Assembly bypoll on Thursday that Jagan was only doing gimmicks on the issue of APSRTC merger and it will not materialise in the coming days.
KCR reportedly made these remarks when the issue of ongoing TSRTC strike by TSRTC unions with the main demand of merger of TSRTC with Telangana government as was done by Jagan in AP, came up for discussion in the meeting.
KCR too made ‘adverse remarks’ on Jagan’s decision in the press conference held at Pragathi Bhavan on Thursday after TRS victory.
When KCR made it clear that merger of RTC with state government was not possible anywhere in the country, one journalist questioned how could Jagan do that in AP when it was not possible.
For this, KCR shot back at the reporter saying, “What Jagan did is not merger, He simply issued orders on the merger and appointed a committee. The committee has been asked to submit report on merger in the five-six months. Only god knows what this committee will tell. You all will come to know about the consequences of Jagan’s merger in the next five-six months. Nothing will happen in AP.”
His comments gave enough indications about what KCR feels about Jagan’s decision on APSRTC merger.
