TDP chief and AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu has predicted downfall of TRS president and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhara Rao in next month’s election. Naidu held discussions with party senior leaders at a strategy meeting in Amaravati when he passed several comments on the current electoral and political situation in Telangana. He gave his opinion that KCR is going to lose power as he has hastily given tickets to ‘losing candidates’ out of sheer over confidence.
It is well known that Naidu has played a key role in formation of Mahakutami alliance consisting of Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI in order to oust KCR from power. Mahakutami allies have ironed out their differences in seat sharing and now they are moving with unity to achieve their goal of defeating TRS.
A rare show of unity among Mahakutami allies is giving confidence to its leaders. Naidu told TDP leaders that arrogance and narrow-minded approach are going to unseat KCR from power in this election. CBN has said that KCR has not bothered to provide a people-friendly governance and the TRS chief has moved closer to Amit Shah and Narendra Modi who have fallen out of favour among Telugu people.
CBN said that people began looking at KCR as a leader who is having a secret deal with Modi who has become infamous for destroying national institutions like CBI and RBI. The secret understanding between YSR Congress Party and BJP was also exposed after TRS party’s deal with BJP, AP CM said.
