Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has finally given instructions to take necessary steps for the shifting of prominent destinations – Race Course and Chanchalguda Jail in Hyderabad and Warangal Jail in Warangal to different places, so that to make use these places for construction of Super Speciality Hospitals.
He has decided to set up a super specialty hospital, along with the Health University in Warangal City and four super specialty hospitals in Hyderabad by the end of this year. He also indicated that necessary funds for the establishment of these hospitals will be allocated in the forthcoming budget.
The Chief Minister wanted that the Warangal Central jail premises which is adjacent to the Kakatiya Medical College should be made into one campus and there super specialty Hospital, Health University and maternity Block should be constructed. He wanted the officials to prepare the proposals in this regard.
The Central jail should be shifted to the outskirts of the Warangal City. The Jail should be shifted after making alternative arrangements. Warangal MGM Hospital should also be developed.
In Hyderabad, the Chief Minister wanted the shifting of Chanchalguda Jail and Hyderabad Race Courses, where residential institutions and other such people utility institutions should come up. He also wanted the officials to prepare proposals.
