TS CM KCR sought time till coming March to apprise his government’s performance, and claims the state is ahead of others in the country with an average growth rate of 12%.
Hyderabad: If you wanted to apprise the performance of my government then wait till the coming March. For, to apprise the performance of any government one should give it a full one year financial year to see the results. This is what Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has told to his critics.
Speaking at the 125 birth anniversary celebrations of former Deputy Chief Minister K Venkata Reddy, the chief minister claimed that the state is racing with an average 12% growth rate, and it would remain so in the years to come, he said.
Underlining the achievements of this government KCR said that the state will have 25,000 MW surplus on energy front by 2018. For this,the state government has aguamented around Rs 91,000 Cr invetments,and quoted that even the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has referred to the development activities taken up Telangana.
On Industrial sector, prospective investors vowed to invest Rs 20,000Cr to establish their operations in the state. Also, the government is making every possible move to ensure providing water to irrigation in part of the state. For this, the state has taken up redesigning of irrigation projects. Refuting any negligence on the part of government, KCR said that his government has been spending Rs 34,000Cr welfare of all sections of people in the society.
