Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Federal Front didn’t get the expected response. Jaganmohan Reddy is the only leader who has expressed open support. Other than that, no other party has come forward to actively associate with Federal Front. Now KCR has changed his strategy to attract the attention of regional leaders. He is promising to embrace the cause of strengthening the regional parties by strongly speaking in support of the rights of respective states and their demands.
With the same slogan, KCR is now able to secure a meeting with DMK leader Stalin today. Both these leaders’ priorities would not match as a matter of fact. Stalin is openly supporting Rahul Gandhi while KCR is having strong opposition from the Congress in his state. Actually, Stalin didn’t show interest in meeting KCR but he changed his decision a day later. Analysts say political compulsions may be behind these changed priorities. The anti-BJP parties need new allies like KCR to oust Modi after the May 23 results. They are not taking any chances to turn neutral parties away. KCR-Stalin is raising lot of curiosity in political circles.
