Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani has raised a banner of revolt against TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu. He has outright rejected the post of TDP Whip post in Lok Sabha. What more, Kesineni has sarcastically said that he cannot accept the responsibility of such a big post. He even advised Naidu to look for someone more competent to handle the post.
Kesineni’s latest statement is creating tremors in the TDP. Going by his signals, he looks all set to join the BJP. He is obviously unhappy over the party not having given him the post of TDP Leader in Lok Sabha which is given to Srikakulam MP Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu.
The TDP won just 3 out of the total 25 Lok Sabha seats while the remaining 22 seats were win by the YCP. A deeper crisis will hit TDP once leaders like Kesineni really take an extreme decision to quit the party.
