Union Minister and BJP Telangana president G Kishan Reddy visited Langerhouz and surrounding areas, where Musi flows on Saturday. As CM Revanth Reddy has been showing no signs of slowing down on Musi Riverfront Development works, Kishan Reddy took stock of the situation in the areas located on the banks of Musi river.
Knowing about Union Minister Kishan Reddy’s visit to Langer houz, local people who are expected to be affected by Musi Riverfront works, approached the senior leader in large numbers.
“CM Revanth Reddy is spreading fear among the people residing on the banks of Musi river area in the name of Musi beautification. He is trying demolish the houses of poor families, who have built their homes brick by brick by working hard for entire life. This is completely inhuman,” said Kishan Reddy, after interacting with the local residents at Bapu Ghat.
“Did anyone ask Revanth Reddy for Musi beautification? Did any one living in the Musi areas ask CM for relocating them? Why is CM so adamant on demolishing the poor and middle class homes in the name of Musi beautification? KCR had tried to do the same and bit the dust. Revanth Reddy will also face same fate,” warned Kishan Reddy, announcing that BJP will stand against Revanth Reddy’s bulldozers.
“Besides taking senseless decisions, CM Revanth Reddy is trying to blame Opposition. No one is opposing Musi cleaning and rejuvenation. But for that, first the drainage flowing into Musi river from all parts of Hyderabad has to be stopped. If flooding has to be controlled, then retaining wall has to be constructed on the both sides of Musi river. But instead of taking all steps Revanth Reddy Sarakar has been frightening people with demolitions,” said Kishan Reddy coming down heavily on CM Revanth Reddy.
